The Department carries out research related to:
- synthesis of algorithms for controlling the combustion engine and drive system,
- reducing fuel consumption,
- limiting the emission of harmful substances,
- energy consumption of movement and efficiency of the drive,
- evaluation of the phenomena and processes occurring in the transient operating states of a spark ignition car engine,
- improvement of diagnostic systems.
